Cake Day 2009!
21.06.2009, More than 40 cakes for a good cause!
A lot of sunshine, a stand in the best location in Luxembourg and more than 40 cakes from all over the world - could there be a better setting for a charity event?!
Many voluntary hobby cooks have baked, decorated and delivered cakes for the donations event. The amazing result: Both Luxembourg's inhabitants and tourists could taste such exotic cakes like "Corn-Cake", "Hungarian Nutcorners" or "Teddybear-Cake". Two "specialists" from Brasil have been more than just ambitious: In a baking marathon, Lourdinha and her son Louizinho prepared 10 cakes for the good cause! No wonder that the "originals" from brasilian hands were gone in a blink of an eye!
But also the rest of the Red Line Team was more than motivated! That's why a happy day in the "Cake Wonderland" ended very successful: While the sweets made the day of many "customers", the sales revenue will certainly make many more for the kids in Brasil!
